Passover pointed to "Easter"

Christians call it "Easter", the reason for the Jewish Passover. The Passover stated in Egypt when the angel of God was to fly over and slaughter the firstborn of Egypt for not letting them go. Those Jews (and others) who put the blood of the lamb over their doorposts, their firstborn would be spared. Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: Exodus 12:5 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. John 1:29 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: 1 Peter 1:18,19 And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it. And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it. Exodus 12:7,8 - 1st Communion Service - Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover. And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. Luke 22:1,19 The blood of the lamb on the doorposts in Egypt represented being saved by His blood- For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate. Hebrews 13:11,12 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? Hebrews 9:13,14 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. Romans 5:9 The unleavened bread represents the Jews having to flee, therefore no time for the bread to rise. And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the LORD'S passover. Exodus 12:11 The bitter herbs represented the bitterness of their bondage in Egypt, a reminder they were once slaves but now would be free. For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD. And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt. And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; Exodus 12:12-14 He delivered you too out of your bondage of sin, your "Egypt". This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. 1 Timothy 1:15 Then - And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons for ever. Exodus 12:24 Now- The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ? 1 Corinthians 10:16 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. Matthew 26:26-28 The term "easter" itself is a pagan term, from the pagan Germanic goddess Eostre. It was adopted by "christians" in the Roman Empire as they expanded into the Germanic pagan lands of central and northern Europe. The pagan rituals to honor her centered around rabbits and eggs. Her festivals were during the spring equinox. The bunny rabbit has replaced the Lamb!!! And what happened to the Egyptians? And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle. And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead. Exodus 12:29,30
