The salt beds that blanket the earth is evidence for the global flood. As large areas of hot water (pumped full of magma and salt-saturated brines) hit cold water-the mixing process caused much of the salt to seperate from water and form large layers of salt. One of the largest salt beds stretches from New York to Ohio.
In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. Genesis 7:11
