The Sanctuary and Sabbath

Of the days of the week-His 7th day Sabbath is His sanctuary of time. It is a Holy day, sanctified and blessed since the Creation. In the Holy place of His sanctuary we find the table of bread (He is the Bread of Life). The 7 branch candlestick shining out and the altar of incense representing the prayers of His people. All Sabbath type of activities. Reading of His word, prayer and witnessing or ministering. There are many lessons to learn from His sanctuary which was modeled after the one in Heaven.

And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made. Genesis 2:3

Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. Exodus 20:8-11

For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works. For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. Hebrews 4:4,8,9
