The Judgement-as our High Priest (Plan of REDEMPTION laid out for all to see)
The daily sacrifices pointed to His sacrifice on the cross. But His sacrifice was final. Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself. Hebrews 7:27 He is now using His sacrifice to make intercession on behalf of our sins. Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. Hebrews 7:25 Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him. 1 Peter 3:22
Daniel, in chapter 7 of his book, sees 4 kingdoms (wich turn out in history to be Babylon, Persia, Greece and Rome) followed by a judgement (&the End) But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end. Daniel 7:26 In Daniel 8 he again sees the kingdoms starting with Persia and Greece fighting followed by another (Rome-pagan/papal) then the Sanctuary cleansed before the End comes And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed. Daniel 8:14 Using the day-for-a-year principle, 2300 days=2,300 years. From what what startong point? Daniel, after fainting, asks for help in understanding so Gabriel begins by starting with the first 70 weeks(490 years) of the 2,300 year prophecy. Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation. And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding. Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. Daniel 9:21,22,24,25 The decree to rebuild the temple went forth in 457 B.C., when adding 2300 years takes you to 1844 A.D. Notice, after the 4 kingdoms comes a Judgement/Sanctuary Cleansed. Like in ancient Israel where the sin built up had to be removed once a year from the temple and laid on the scapegoat. The Judgement has begun for those who have lived and died already on earth. If they are sitting in Judgement right now, what happens when they finish and stand up from the Judgement table? And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. Daniel 12:1,2
The whole plan of REDEMPTION was laid out for all to see, past and present, in the SANCTUARY service. Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: Psalm 77:13
Day of Atonement
And he shall take the two goats, and present them before the LORD at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats; one lot for the LORD, and the other lot for the scapegoat. And he shall take a censer full of burning coals of fire from off the altar before the LORD, and his hands full of sweet incense beaten small, and bring it within the vail: And he shall put the incense upon the fire before the LORD, that the cloud of the incense may cover the mercy seat that is upon the testimony, that he die not: And he shall take of the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it with his finger upon the mercy seat eastward; and before the mercy seat shall he sprinkle of the blood with his finger seven times. Then shall he kill the goat of the sin offering, that is for the people, and bring his blood within the vail, and do with that blood as he did with the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it upon the mercy seat, and before the mercy seat: And he shall make an atonement for the holy place, because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and because of their transgressions in all their sins: and so shall he do for the tabernacle of the congregation, that remaineth among them in the midst of their uncleanness. Leviticus 16:7,8,12-16 Then the sin which was built up during the year was trnsferred to the headof the scapegoat who was sent away forever. And Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness: And the goat shall bear upon him all their iniquities unto a land not inhabited: and he shall let go the goat in the wilderness. Leviticus 16:21,22 This symbolic transfer of all our sins is upon the head of lucifer in the end, who bears it away forever. And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire.... Revelation 20:10 It will be all over And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Revelation 21:4
And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed. Daniel 8:14 (2,300 years)
And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed. Daniel 8:14 (2,300 years)
Light to the World
Tabernacle- God guided the Israelites. And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night: Exodus 13:21
Christ- Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. John 8:12
Church- Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Matthew 5:14
The bronze Altar-God will provide a Lamb
The bronze altar was for the sacrifices in the outer court yard, which pointed towards the Lamb of God ...and without shedding of blood is no remission. Hebrews 9:22 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together. Genesis 22:8 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. John 1:29 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. Isaiah 53:5,7
And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed. Daniel 8:14 (2,300 years)
The Bronze Laver
Thou shalt also make a laver of brass, and his foot also of brass, to wash withal: and thou shalt put it between the tabernacle of the congregation and the altar, and thou shalt put water therein. For Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet thereat: Exodus 30:18,19 The bronze laver was in the outer court for the priests to wash themselves before entering the Holy place. And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized. John 3:23
And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed. Daniel 8:14 (2,300 years)
The 7 Branch Candlestick
And thou shalt make a candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work shall the candlestick be made: his shaft, and his branches, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, shall be of the same. And six branches shall come out of the sides of it; three branches of the candlestick out of the one side, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side: And thou shalt make the seven lamps thereof: and they shall light the lamps thereof, that they may give light over against it. Exodus 25:31,32,37 The canlestick, burning with holy oil day and night, represents to us His Church and the Holy Spirit. And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep, And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof: ..and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it. Zechariah 4:1,2,7 It is the Church today that cries out "Grace, Grace" to the world. And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves? And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord. Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth. Zechariah 4:12-14 The two olive branches are Christ and The Holy Spirit that stand before the Lord of the whole earth.
And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed. Daniel 8:14 (2,300 years)
Table of Bread
And thou shalt set upon the table shewbread before me alway. Exodus 25:30 Table of the Shewbread as it was called, had 12 loaves placed on it each week representing the 12 tribes of Israel. Symbolicaly, later, for spiritual Israel, His Church, founded by the 12 disciples. The bread represents Christ I am the living bread which came down from heaven: John 6:51
And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed. Daniel 8:14 (2,300 years)
Altar of Incense
The Altar of Incense was next to the Most Holy place within the Holy place. It was a representation of the prayers of God's people. It was kept filled with a sweet smelling incense at all times. And Aaron shall burn thereon sweet incense every morning: when he dresseth the lamps, he shall burn incense upon it. And when Aaron lighteth the lamps at even, he shall burn incense upon it, a perpetual incense before the LORD throughout your generations. Exodus 30:7,8 As in Heaven ..... and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. Revelation 5:8
And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed. Daniel 8:14 (2,300 years)
The Veil
The veil seperated the Most Holy place from the Holy Place. And thou shalt make a vail of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen of cunning work: with cherubims shall it be made: ...and the vail shall divide unto you between the holy place and the most holy. Exodus 26:31,33 During His sacrifice on the cross the veil was rent in half Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; Matthew 27:50,51 For the Temple services on earth came to an end with His death. Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; Colossians 2:14 The symbolism for the veil was our sin seperating us from the presence of God Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. Isaiah 59:1,2 --Now the activity shifts to Heaven and His services there as our High Priest And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened: Revelation 15:5 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: Revelation 11:9 As one would follow the plan of Redemption laid out in the Sanctuary-what is left for Him in Heaven is the actually judgment-the Day of Atonement, and the sending away of the scape goat.
And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed. Daniel 8:14 (2,300 years)
And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed. Daniel 8:14 (2,300 years)
The Ark of the Covenant (In the Most Holy Place)
And after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all; Hebrews 9:3 Only the High priest could enter the Most Holy place once a year on the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur). And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto Aaron thy brother, that he come not at all times into the holy place within the vail before the mercy seat, which is upon the ark; that he die not: for I will appear in the cloud upon the mercy seat. And he shall take of the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it with his finger upon the mercy seat eastward; and before the mercy seat shall he sprinkle of the blood with his finger seven times. Leviticus 16:2,14
The Ark of the Covenant contained the 10 Commandment stone tablets ...and put the tables in the ark which I had made; and there they be, as the LORD commanded me. Deuteronomy 10:5 (The Law which He would one day come down and show them how to live- Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. Matthew 5:17). It also contained a jar of manna (the food which God fed them with in the desert) and Aaron's rod which had blossomed with leaves. Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant; Hebrews 9:4 *** The MANNA from heaven-They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work? Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat. Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread. And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: John 6:30-35 *** Aaron's rod, of the first High Priest- Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus; Hebrews 3:1 Feed thy people with thy rod, the flock of thine heritage... Micah 7:14
Above the ark was the Mercy Seat of God. Notice His "MERCY SEAT" is over His Law inside the ark-for what is sin? ....for sin is the transgression of the law. 1 John 3:4 And thou shalt put the mercy seat upon the ark of the testimony in the most holy place. Exodus 26:34
And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed. Daniel 8:14 (2,300 years)

Our High Priest
Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Hebrews 4:14,15 Only the High Priest could enter the Most Holy place to minister before God on behalf of the people. He had to be without blemish. Only he shall not go in unto the vail, nor come nigh unto the altar, because he hath a blemish; that he profane not my sanctuaries: for I the LORD do sanctify them. Leviticus 21:23
OUR HIGH PRIEST- Thou shalt daily prepare a burnt offering unto the LORD of a lamb of the first year without blemish: thou shalt prepare it every morning. Ezekiel 46:13 --- The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. John 1:29 ---But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: 1 Peter 1:19
And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed. Daniel 8:14 (2,300 years)
The Sanctuary/Temple-Measure it (learn it)
And the man said unto me, Son of man, behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears, and set thine heart upon all that I shall shew thee; for to the intent that I might shew them unto thee art thou brought hither: declare all that thou seest to the house of Israel. Ezekiel 40:4 And what did Ezekiel see? Measure, measure, measure the Temple. In other words Learn it, learn it, learn it!!! ...and in the man's hand a measuring reed of six cubits long by the cubit and an hand breadth: so he measured the breadth of the building, one reed; and the height, one reed. Ezekiel 40:5 Learn the SYMBOLISM of it.
...and went up the stairs thereof, and measured the threshold of the gate, .... And every little chamber was one reed long, ... and the threshold of the gate by the porch of the gate within was one reed..... He measured also the porch of the gate within, one reed.... Then measured he the porch of the gate,... and the posts thereof,... and the porch of the gate was inward.... And he measured the breadth of the entry of the gate, ....and the length of the gate,... He measured then the gate from the roof.... And there were narrow windows to the little chambers,... And the gate of the outward court that looked toward the north, he measured the length thereof, and the breadth thereof..... After that he brought me toward the south, and behold a gate toward the south: and he measured the posts thereof and the arches thereof according to these measures.... and he measured from gate to gate toward the south an hundred cubits.... and he measured the south gate..... And the little chambers thereof, and the posts thereof, and the arches thereof, according to these measures... And he brought me to the north gate, and measured it according to these measures... And in the porch of the gate were two tables on this side, and two tables on that side, to slay thereon the burnt offering and the sin offering and the trespass offering.... And he brought me to the porch of the house, and measured each post of the porch... Afterward he brought me to the temple, and measured the posts, six cubits broad on the one side, and six cubits broad on the other side, which was the breadth of the tabernacle.... And the breadth of the door was ten cubits; and the sides of the door were five cubits on the one side, and five cubits on the other side: and he measured the length thereof... So he measured the length thereof... After he measured the wall of the house... I saw also the height of the house round about..... So he measured the house..... Also the breadth of the face of the house... The altar of wood was three cubits high, and the length thereof two cubits.... and he said unto me, This is the table that is before the LORD..... And the temple and the sanctuary had two doors..... Then he brought me forth into the utter court, the way toward the north.... Before the length of an hundred cubits was the north door, and the breadth was fifty cubits..... and over against the pavement which was for the utter court, was gallery against gallery in three stories..... Now the upper chambers were shorter: for the galleries were higher than these, than the lower, and than the middlemost of the building..... He measured the east side... He measured the north side.... He measured the south side... He turned about to the west side, and measured... He measured it by the four sides: it had a wall round about, five hundred reeds long, and five hundred broad, to make a separation between the sanctuary and the profane place.... Ezekiel 40:6-9,11,13,16,20,24,27-29,35,39,48 & 41:1,2,4,5,8,13,14,22,23 & 421-3,5,16-20
Afterward he brought me to the gate, even the gate that looketh toward the east: And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east: and his voice was like a noise of many waters: and the earth shined with his glory...and the visions were like the vision that I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell upon my face. And the glory of the LORD came into the house by the way of the gate whose prospect is toward the east. So the spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, the glory of the LORD filled the house. And I heard him speaking unto me out of the house; and the man stood by me....Now let them put away their whoredom, ... far from me, and I will dwell in the midst of them for ever. Thou son of man, shew the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities: and let them measure the pattern. Ezekiel 43:1-6,9,10
And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed. Daniel 8:14 (2,300 years)
Spirit of Prophecy
And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: Joel 2:28
........for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. Revelation 19:10 & His remnant in the End Times to hold up the light of truth to the world will have it-And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. Revelation 12:17
A postcanonical prophecy/prophet must 1) Totally be in harmony with the canon of scripture (Bible). To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. Isaiah 8:20 2) Judged carefully by the community. Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge. 1 Corinthians 14:29 3) Content of the prophecy should be edifying to the community. But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort. 1 Corinthians 14:3 4) Prophecy should be done in an orderly way. For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. 1 Corinthians 14:33
For someone to have the gift of prophecy since the close of the canon of scripture-they have the same INSPIRATION as the Biblical writers-but NOT the same AUTHORITY as the Biblical writers. For whatever they give as a message cannot add or take away from scripture. And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. Revealation 22:19 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Matthew 5:18 For I am the LORD, I change not; Malachi 3:6
If someone in any Church would happen to be given the gift of prophecy for their Church--- Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;Romans 12:6 --- It would 1) Point to the Scriptures 2) Illuminate teachings already there 3) Apply principles of Scripture to the daily life 4) Reprove, warn & instruct to stay on course 5) Protect from false doctrines.

But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: Acts 2:16-18

O thou of Little Faith, why did you doubt?
And when even was now come, his disciples went down unto the sea, And entered into a ship, and went over the sea toward Capernaum. And it was now dark, and Jesus was not come to them. John 6:16,17 And when even was come, the ship was in the midst of the sea, and he alone on the land. Mark 6:47 But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary. Matthew 14:24 And the sea arose by reason of a great wind that blew. John 6:18 But when they saw him walking upon the sea, they supposed it had been a spirit, and cried out: Mark 6:49 But he saith unto them, It is I; be not afraid. John 6:20 And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased. Matthew 14:28-32 And he went up unto them into the ship; and the wind ceased: and they were sore amazed in themselves beyond measure, and wondered. Mark 6:51 Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God. Matthew 14:23
He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still. Psalm 107:29
The Moon
When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? Psalm 8:3,4 He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down. Psalm 104:19 The moon and stars to rule by night: for his mercy endureth for ever. Psalm 136:9
Unto the Gentiles
I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth. Isaiah 49:6 And I will sow her unto me in the earth; and I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to them which were not my people, Thou art my people; and they shall say, Thou art my God. Hosea 2:23 And again he saith, Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people. Romans 15:10

Sabbath Commandment
Some say that keeping the 7th day Sabbath is being legalistic or "trying to work your way to heaven". This, of course, is not true. For if it is-then if you have a chance to commit adultery-you might as well. Or your just trying to "work your way to heaven" also. Or why not lie if you feel like it? ---- Either you keep His commandments-or you don't. You can't pick 9 out of the 10 and replace one with another day, such as Sunday, just becasue you feel like it. For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law. James 2:10,11 Get the point?
Thieves on the cross-(us)
And with him they crucify two thieves; the one on his right hand, and the other on his left. Mark 15:27 Where they crucified him, and two other with him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst. John 19:18 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. Luke 23:39-42
The thieves on the cross represent the two classes of people in the world:Saved and Lost
1)Both were guilty 2) Both could do nothing to save themselves 3) Both had the same opportunity to be saved ---- I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: Galatians 2:20
A Message For Spiritual Israel (Christians)
Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name: If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever. Jeremiah 31:35,36 What ordinances? But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. Jeremiah 31:33

Tense moment with Assyria
Sennacherib king of Assyria came, and entered into Judah, and encamped against the fenced cities, and thought to win them for himself. And when Hezekiah saw that Sennacherib was come, and that he was purposed to fight against Jerusalem, So there was gathered much people together, who stopped all the fountains, and the brook that ran through the midst of the land, saying, Why should the kings of Assyria come, and find much water? 2 Chronicles 32:1,2,4 Then the king of Assyria sent the Tartan, the Rabsaris, and the Rabshakeh from Lachish, with a great army against Jerusalem, to King Hezekiah. And they went up and came to Jerusalem. When they had come up, they went and stood by the aqueduct from the upper pool, which was on the highway to the Fuller's Field. 2 Kings 18:18 And for this cause Hezekiah the king, and the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz, prayed and cried to heaven. 2 Chronicles 32:20 Why was God angry with Judah? Now therefore, what have I here, saith the LORD, that my people is taken away for nought? they that rule over them make them to howl, saith the LORD; and my name continually every day is blasphemed. Isaiah 52:5 Back to the siege outside the walls of Jerusalem Then the Rabshakeh said to them, "Say now to Hezekiah, 'Thus says the great king, the king of Assyria: "What confidence is this in which you trust? You speak of having plans and power for war; but they are mere words. And in whom do you trust, that you rebel against me? You speak of having plans and power for war; but they are mere words. And in whom do you trust, that you rebel against me? 2 kings 18:19,20 The Assyrians go on to crack on their alliance with Egypt (which God had not wanted them to form in the first place) and crack on God Now look! You are trusting in the staff of this broken reed, Egypt, on which if a man leans, it will go into his hand and pierce it. So is Pharaoh king of Egypt to all who trust in him. But if you say to me, 'We trust in the LORD our God,' is it not He whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah has taken away, and said to Judah and Jerusalem, 'You shall worship before this altar in Jerusalem'?" ' Now therefore, I urge you, give a pledge to my master the king of Assyria, and I will give you two thousand horses--if you are able on your part to put riders on them! 2 kings 18:21-23 Next the representatives of Judah ask them to speak in Aramaic so the people on the wall listening won't understand-and panic Then Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, Shebna, and Joah said to the Rabshakeh, "Please speak to your servants in Aramaic, for we understand it; and do not speak to us in Hebrew in the hearing of the people who are on the wall." But the Rabshakeh said to them, "Has my master sent me to your master and to you to speak these words, and not to the men who sit on the wall, who will eat and drink their own waste with you?" Then the Rabshakeh stood and called out with a loud voice in Hebrew, and spoke, saying, "Hear the word of the great king, the king of Assyria! Thus says the king: 'Do not let Hezekiah deceive you, for he shall not be able to deliver you from his hand; nor let Hezekiah make you trust in the LORD, saying, "The LORD will surely deliver us; this city shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria." ' Do not listen to Hezekiah; for thus says the king of Assyria: 'Make peace with me by a present and come out to me; and every one of you eat from his own vine and every one from his own fig tree, and every one of you drink the waters of his own cistern; 1 Kings 18:26-31 The reply But the people held their peace and answered him not a word; for the king's commandment was, "Do not answer him." Then Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, who was over the household, Shebna the scribe, and Joah the son of Asaph, the recorder, came to Hezekiah with their clothes torn, and told him the words of the Rabshakeh. 2 Kings 18:36,37 So the servants of King Hezekiah came to Isaiah. And Isaiah said to them, "Thus you shall say to your master, 'Thus says the LORD: "Do not be afraid of the words which you have heard, with which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed Me. Surely I will send a spirit upon him, and he shall hear a rumor and return to his own land; and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land." 2 kings 19:5-7 The Letter from Sennacherib He wrote also letters to rail on the LORD God of Israel, and to speak against him, saying, As the gods of the nations of other lands have not delivered their people out of mine hand, so shall not the God of Hezekiah deliver his people out of mine hand. 2 Chronicles 32:17 And the king heard concerning Tirhakah king of Ethiopia, "Look, he has come out to make war with you." So he again sent messengers to Hezekiah, saying, Thus you shall speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying: 'Do not let your God in whom you trust deceive you, saying, "Jerusalem shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria." 2 kings 19:9,10 Hezekiah spreads the letter before God And Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messengers, and read it; and Hezekiah went up to the house of the LORD, and spread it before the LORD. 2 kings 19:14 Hezekiah's prayer Then Hezekiah prayed before the LORD, and said: "O LORD God of Israel, the One who dwells between the cherubim, You are God, You alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth. Incline Your ear, O LORD, and hear; open Your eyes, O LORD, and see; and hear the words of Sennacherib, which he has sent to reproach the living God. Truly, LORD, the kings of Assyria have laid waste the nations and their lands, and have cast their gods into the fire; for they were not gods, but the work of men's hands--wood and stone. Therefore they destroyed them. Now therefore, O LORD our God, I pray, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that You are the LORD God, You alone." 2 Kings 19:15-19 Isaiah gives the response from God Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying, "Thus says the LORD God of Israel: 'Because you have prayed to Me against Sennacherib king of Assyria, I have heard.' "Therefore thus says the LORD concerning the king of Assyria: 'He shall not come into this city, Nor shoot an arrow there, Nor come before it with shield, Nor build a siege mound against it. By the way that he came, By the same shall he return; And he shall not come into this city,' Says the LORD. 'For I will defend this city, to save it For My own sake and for My servant David's sake.' " 2 kings 19:20,32-34 Judah delivered And the LORD sent an angel, which cut off all the mighty men of valour, and the leaders and captains in the camp of the king of Assyria. So he returned with shame of face to his own land. And when he was come into the house of his god, they that came forth of his own bowels slew him there with the sword. Thus the LORD saved Hezekiah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennacherib the king of Assyria, and from the hand of all other, and guided them on every side. 2 Chronicles 32:21,22 Nahum commented on Nineveh (capitol of Assyria) Woe to the bloody city! it is all full of lies and robbery;..The noise of a whip, and the noise of the rattling of the wheels, and of the pransing horses, and of the jumping chariots. The horseman lifteth up both the bright sword and the glittering spear: and there is a multitude of slain, and a great number of carcases; and there is none end of their corpses; they stumble upon their corpses: Because of the multitude of the whoredoms of the well favoured harlot, the mistress of witchcrafts, that selleth nations through her whoredoms, and families through her witchcrafts. Behold, I am against thee, saith the LORD of hosts; and I will discover thy skirts upon thy face, and I will shew the nations thy nakedness, and the kingdoms thy shame. Nahum 3:1-5 And Zephaniah says And He will stretch out His hand against the north, Destroy Assyria, And make Nineveh a desolation, As dry as the wilderness. Zephaniah 2:13 Ezekiel says Behold, the Assyrian was a cedar in Lebanon with fair branches, and with a shadowing shroud, and of an high stature; and his top was among the thick boughs. The waters made him great, the deep set him up on high with her rivers running round about his plants, and sent out her little rivers unto all the trees of the field. Therefore his height was exalted above all the trees of the field, and his boughs were multiplied, and his branches became long because of the multitude of waters, when he shot forth. --To the end that none of all the trees by the waters exalt themselves for their height, neither shoot up their top among the thick boughs, neither their trees stand up in their height, all that drink water: for they are all delivered unto death, to the nether parts of the earth, in the midst of the children of men, with them that go down to the pit. Ezekiel 31:3-5,14 God's summary about Assyria I made the nations to shake at the sound of his fall,.. Ezekiel 31:16
Come out of Babylon
God has true believers in all churches-but in the end He calls them out of the apostate churches - And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. Revelation 18:2,4 Deliver thyself, O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon. Zechariah 2:7
A wise woman wrote "Many of the Protestant churches are following Rome's example.....other denominations, by seeking the favor of the world. And the term Babylon -confusion-may be appropriatley applied to these bodies, all professing to derive their doctrines from the Bible, yet divided into almost innumerable sects with widley conflicting creeds and theories. Besides a sinfull union with the world, the churches that seperated from Rome present other of her characteristics." The Great Controversy p.383 Dr. Thomas Guthrie wrote about his Presbyterian Church "....our church, with an open Bible on her banner, and this motto 'Search the scriptures' on her scroll, marched out from the gates of Rome." He goes on to ask "Did they come clean out of Babylon?" The Gospel in Ezekiel p.237 "The desire for an easy religion that requires ...no self-denial, no divorce from follies of the world, has made the doctrine of faith, and faith only, a popular doctrine." The Great Controversy p. 472 "The sanctification now gaining prominence in the religious world carries with it a spirit of self-exaltation, and a disregard for the law of God. Its advocates teach that sanctification is an instantaneous work, by which, through faith alone, they attain to perfect holiness. "Only believe" they say "and the blessing is yours". But is it possible for men to be holy, in accord with the will of the character of God, without coming into harmony with the principles which are an expression of His nature and will...?" The Great Controversy p.471
"Many of God's people must still be in Babylon." The Great Controversy p.383 And many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto thee. Zechariah 2:11 Then he answered and said, "Babylon is fallen, is fallen! And all the carved images of her gods He has broken to the ground." Isaiah 21:9
So you wanna go back to Egypt?
In Biblical prophecy, Egypt is symbolic of the world of sin- Then said I unto them, Cast ye away every man the abominations of his eyes, and defile not yourselves with the idols of Egypt: I am the LORD your God. Ezekiel 20:7 And when we cried unto the LORD, he heard our voice, and sent an angel, and hath brought us forth out of Egypt: Numbers 20:16 Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: Hebrews 11:26 --- To whom our fathers would not obey, but thrust him from them, and in their hearts turned back again into Egypt,... Acts 7:39 But they rebelled against me, and would not hearken unto me: they did not every man cast away the abominations of their eyes, neither did they forsake the idols of Egypt: Ezekiel 20:8 --- Also thou shalt not oppress a stranger: for ye know the heart of a stranger, seeing ye were strangers in the land of Egypt. Exodus 23:9 Wherefore I caused them to go forth out of the land of Egypt, and brought them into the wilderness. And I gave them my statutes, and shewed them my judgments, which if a man do, he shall even live in them. Ezekiel 20:10,11 I am the LORD your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, to give you the land of Canaan, and to be your God. Leviticus 25:38-- Do you really wanna to go back to Egypt?
Rain
Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains. Psalm 147:8 Who giveth rain upon the earth, and sendeth waters upon the fields: Job 5:10 For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God: Hebrews 6:7
The Transfiguration
And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them. Mark 9:2 And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering. Luke 9:29 And his raiment became shining, exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can white them. Mark 9:3 And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him. Matthew 17:3 Who appeared in glory, and spake of his decease which he should accomplish at Jerusalem. But Peter and they that were with him were heavy with sleep: and when they were awake, they saw his glory, and the two men that stood with him. Luke 9:31,32 Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. Matthew 17:4 For he wist not what to say; for they were sore afraid. Mark 9:6 While he thus spake, there came a cloud, and overshadowed them: and they feared as they entered into the cloud. Luke 9:34 And there was a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him. Mark 9:7 And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid. Matthew 17:6 And suddenly, when they had looked round about, they saw no man any more, save Jesus only with themselves. Mark 9:8 And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead. Matthew 17:9
Here, at the Transfiguartion-Moses represents to us those who have tasted of death but will be ressurected at the end. ( For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 1 Thessalonians 4:16 ) Moses is the only human to be ressurected to Heaven so far - Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee. Jude 9 Elijah represents those of us who are alive and remain at the end who will never taste of death. ( Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:17 ) For Elijah never died - And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. 2 Kings 2:11

A MIST that appears for a Time
Feeding of the 5,000
What were some of the lessons from the Feeding of the 5,000? 1) He taught them spiritual needs were just as important as temporal needs 2) He never worked a miracle except to provide for a genuine need 3) The fishes and loaves were the daily food of the fishermen who lived there by the lake-He provided their daily bread 4) The people gathered the fragments of the blessing they were given to take and share with others 5) He recieved from the Father-imparted to the disciples-who imparted to the people and the people to one another 6) His disiples were used as a channel of communication between Him and the people 7) We (as His followers) can only impart what He gives us.
And they departed into a desert place by ship privately. Mark 6:32 and when the people had heard thereof, they followed him on foot out of the cities. ......and Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick. Matthew 14:13,14 When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat? And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do. Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little. One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, saith unto him, There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many? And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand. John 6:5-10 Then he took the five loaves and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed them, and brake, and gave to the disciples to set before the multitude. Luke 9:16 And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would. John 6:11 And they did all eat, and were filled. And they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments, and of the fishes. Mark 6:42,43 And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full. Matthew 14:20 When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost. John 6:12 Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world. When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone. John 6:14,15
Paul sums it all up for us
