The Time Was The Time Of Love

God, speaking through Ezekiel, to ancient Israel/(Spiritual Israel today) says- Now when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy time was the time of love; and I spread my skirt over thee, and covered thy nakedness: yea, I sware unto thee, and entered into a covenant with thee, saith the Lord GOD, and thou becamest mine. Ezekiel 16:8 He is the bridegroom and we are the bride. And as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee. Isaiah 62:5 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. MAtthew 25:1-13 But what did Israel/the Christian Church do? - I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels. Isaiah 61:10- Then washed I thee with water; yea, I throughly washed away thy blood from thee, and I anointed thee with oil. I decked thee also with ornaments, and I put bracelets upon thy hands, and a chain on thy neck.And thy renown went forth among the heathen for thy beauty:But thou didst trust in thine own beauty, and playedst the harlot because of thy renown, and pouredst out thy fornications on every one that passed by; his it was. And in all thine abominations and thy whoredoms thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth, when thou wast naked and bare, and wast polluted in thy blood. Ezekiel 16:9,11,14,15,22 Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein. Jeremiah 6:16 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Revelation 2:4 REMEMBER- Now when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy time was the time of love; Ezekiel 16:8 This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.
